Scheduling a New Patient
This article shows how to quickly schedule a new patient directly from the calendar. The goal is to keep scheduling fast and simple so your team can stay focused on patient flow instead of data entry.

- Double-click on the white space where you want to schedule the visit.
This opens a scheduling panel where you can enter patient details.

- Email address
Set the visit details
To complete the appointment, you’ll need to define:
- Location (if applicable)

You can also set additional context like payment type or visit priority if needed.
Finalize the appointment
- Click Schedule.
- The appointment will appear on the calendar.
- Click the appointment to review or edit details.
Why this workflow matters
- No need to leave the calendar to create a patient
- Reduces back-and-forth between systems
- Keeps front desk and MA workflows fast and uninterrupted
Scheduling should take seconds, not minutes. This flow is designed to keep your day moving without slowing down patient throughput.
